 Who can attend?

Any Northbrook troop that is registered for the 2009-2010 Girl Scout year by September 30, 2009.       AND has an outdoor camp trained leader.  AND has a First Aid/CPR trained leader.  AND believes in having fun in the out of doors.

What is the troop cost?

Each troop will pay at application for the cost of a campsite for 2 days--$120.

 Smaller troops that can be combined into one campsite will receive one day’s refund.

You may attend for 1 night or 2. Day troops pay $50 troop fee.

What is the cost per girl?

Girl cost will be $12.  Adult fees will be $10.  This is in addition to camp fee and includes patch, craft materials, program materials, building use and whatever else the committee decides to do.  Save your cookie money!!!!

Tent or cabin?

Sites will be assigned according to age of troop. Only Brownie troops may request cabins. Once final applications are in, sites will be assigned.

What is my troop responsible for?

Troops are responsible for trained adults and for knowing the rules of the camp.  They are responsible for prepared girls and most of all for prepared extra adults.  Troops are responsible for all food and cleaning supplies. Adults per troop may be limited to accommodate girls.

What will we be doing?

We always plan on crafts, camp skills, games and a campfire.  Activities are girl planned.  We welcome your ideas.

How do we sign up?  Send the application with a troop check for $120, or $50 for day troops made out to GS Vista 7 to Denise Y by June 30, 2009. Questions? email:  V7_eventcoor5@GSVISTA.org  A second application and girl fees will be due September 15. Initial camp fee is not refundable after August 30.
