What is Thinking Day?

Thinking Day lets Girl Scouts celebrate international friendships, and is a reminder that Girl Scouts of the USA is part of a global community - one of 145 countries in the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS).

This year we are celebrating 100 years of Girl Scouting!

Thinking Day 2012 is open to our entire Service Unit 405 and welcomes all Girl Scouts from Lincolnwood, Morton Grove, Niles, Park Ridge and Skokie, and from all levels of Girl Scouting from Daisies through Ambassadors.

Thinking Day 2012 Service Project:

Each year Girl Scouts are encouraged to participate in a Service Project connected to our Thinking Day event. This year we are asking girls to bring a new or gently used children’s book to be donated to local charity organizations.
