8:45 - 11:45 am
Emerson Middle School
8101 N. Cumberland Ave. (at Oakton), Niles

All levels are invited from Daisies through High School Ambassadors

The event will begin with an opening ceremony, after which scouts will "travel" from country to country learning games, songs, crafts, dances and have a chance to sample foods from other cultures. Everyone will receive a "passport" and have their picture taken. The morning is scheduled in 15-minute stations with a 5-minute rotation time in between. You must attend the entire event with your troop. We will have a closing ceremony to end our event.

Registration Deadline: January 23, 2009

Maximum attendees: 300 people. Registrations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.

Transportation to and from the event are on your own. Parking at the school is limited. There will be a designated area for drop-off and pick-up. Older scouts will be available to assist the younger girls. Parents will need to come in to the building to pick-up their child(ren).
