Search and Rescue Training

Busse Woods Forest Preserve, Schaumburg, Illinois Enter South off Route 72, Higgins Road. First Entrance East of Route 53. Take the first left turn and find a parking spot.


HOW DO POLICE FIND LOST PEOPLE?

Here’s your chance!
 
We are holding a Mock Police Search to learn how Police use people in the general community to help them search for someone who is lost or missing
 
Opened from VISTA 2 to VISTA 4 – Juniors and up
 
Cross Roads Search and Rescue Team will run the program for us
 
There is no cost but you may want to bring a water bottle, snack, and layered clothing
 
DROP-INS are allowed with permission slip
and leader or her parent
Older siblings only are welcome if accompanied by a parent
 
Each girl member must be accompanied by a registered adult who will have collected the permission slips and be present at the event
 
DRESS FOR THE WEATHER!
 YOU WILL BE OUTDOORS THE ENTIRE TIME
