VISTA 4 Communities Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana is the largest Illinois council and the fourth largest in the United States. Our jurisdiction includes 102 communities in Northeastern Illinois with a membership of more than 36,800 girls and 9,500 adult volunteers. As a response to GSUSA’s Governance and Organizational Structuring priorities, our council created Volunteer Information, Support, Training Areas (VISTAs), blending 45+ service units into fifteen VISTAs.
