Come join the fun as we go swimming in the middle of winter! This is a private party for Girl Scouts (and their families) only! The park offers three water slides, a rapid water channel, water playground, diving pool, lap pool, gradual beach-like entry pool, and a whirlpool (for adults only). Visit http://www.parkfun.com/dir/fit/ww/wtrwks.html to take a virtual tour of the pool! The Oasis (food stand) will also be open for the evening, selling candy, chips, pretzels, nachos, ice cream, hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, hot chocolate, milk, pop, tea, and coffee (extra $$).

Sponsored by Girl Scout Senior Troop 1558. This is a fundraising event to help offset costs to earn their Gold Award. Leaders: please review the Waterworks Pool Rules with your troop. No towels or locker locks are provided. Storage cubicles and bins are located on the swim deck. Adults must accompany children under 9 years of age at an 8:1 ratio. Lined bathing suits required. Personal flotation devices and small pool toys are permitted in leisure pool only. Patrons must be 18 years or older to use hot tub. You are responsible for cleaning up your things after the event. Troops who pre-order by February 9 may pick up tickets up at the February 9, 2009, VISTA Leader meeting for quick entry to Waterworks that night, or you may purchase tickets at the door for the LATE registration fee. Book Drive at WaterWorks

Who—Anyone who attends the WaterWorks swimming party, February 21st, 2009.

What—Please help me earn my Gold Award, and help create a Library at the Maryville Jen School! Bring any book that you would like to donate (new or gently used). All books will be accepted, but we are looking specifically for books of interest for males age 13-19 (reading levels range from kindergarten through high school).

For Who—The books donated will help create a better library for the Maryville Jen School. The school is for males’ age 13-19 whose reading levels range from kindergarten through high school.

Raffle!—For every 3 books that you donate you will receive one raffle ticket. There is no limit to the amount of tickets you can earn—i.e., bring as many books as you want! For each ticket earned, you will be entered into a raffle to win prizes! Winning names will be drawn at 8 p.m., and if you are a winner, you can claim your prize when you leave WaterWorks that night!

For more information—If you have any questions about my Gold Award project, please contact me, Kristin Palarz, Ambassador Troop 41558, through my troop leader Sandy Cramer, at v3_webmaster@gsvista.org.
