Troops Sharing their Accomplishments
Bronze Award – Vida Nahar , Kathy Ozmeral, & Heidi Krug-Myers, Troop #40358
Congrats to all the junior girls for earning their bronze award and sharing with us on how they achieved this great honor by hosting a “Halloween Costumes Give-away” event. Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle were the guiding principles behind this environment-friendly project! About 300 Halloween costumes and accessories for adults and kids were collected. All those were given away for free to members of community at the Give-Away event. Each girl worked for at least 15 hours sending appeals, placing boxes, collecting the costumes, folding and packaging the costumes and on the disbursement event.

The Cookies are COMING! – Please Read
We have Cookie Ambassadors! Susan Koretz, Dorann Swanson, and Eden Richards have stepped up the cookie plate and divided our area by Buffalo Grove-Wheeling-Lincolnshire, Twin Groves, and Arlington Heights. A Troop from Arlington Heights has volunteered to help out with Incentives. We are still in need of your help to fill the following volunteer positions listed below. Please take a moment and look at the volunteer positions we need to fill our cookie team. Contact our Vista Managers if you any questions or would like to volunteer.
SITE SALE COORDINATOR: (2-5, ideal to have one from each community). A Site Sale is where Troops sell their additional boxes of cookies at store location like Jewel, Bank, etc. This position collect Site Sale forms from troops that will be participating and organize all requests for date, time, and locations. Call the stores to arrange site sale (this way they are not getting bombarded of calls from different leaders) and provide permits. Handle issues that arises with site sales.
DELIVER STATION COORDINATORS: (4-5, one from each community). Locate a facility for the day of delivery. Organize, inventory, breakdown and assemble volunteers on the day of delivery. Older troops can help with this position.
