"Share the Harvest" - Lisa Ries
Troop 40460 is coordinating with the Vernon Township Food Pantry to run this year’s Thanksgiving food basket drive. Each year, Troops from our area have adopted needy families from Vernon Township and put together a box/basket containing a complete Thanksgiving meal. Register by September 30 and Food Baskets need to be delivered on Saturday, November 21 to the Vernon Township Office. For more information contact GStroop40460@att.net.

FALL PRODUCT PROGRAM - Jan Grant (Fall Product Ambassador)
Need to earn more funds for your troop? Why not have your troop sell Fall Product Program and earn 15% profit from each magazine subscription or nut/candy products.
· Product order-taking dates: October 1-18.
· Product delivery dates: November 13-25.
· New this year, money for magazines and nut/candies are to be collected when customer places an order.
· Troop Incentive has changed: When the troop averages a P.G.A. (per girl average) every girl in the troop who participated will receive their choice of an incentive.

Help Wanted!
Fall Product Community Partner: We cannot make Girl Scouts a successful year without our volunteers. Please consider assisting your community. We are in need of FP Community Partner for Twin Groves and Lincolnshire. This position distributes and collects the Fall Products Packets to the Troops that are participating.
Cookies need our Help! Our Cluster is in need of Cookie Helpers, especially a Cookie Ambassador that can be shared by more than one person. It takes a cluster of volunteers to make cookies go sweet! Contact our Cluster Ambassador Managers for more information.
Leader Trainers Needed. We are looking for volunteers to train Leaders in a classroom environment. Daisy & Brownies Leader Training was cancelled and new arrangements will be made. Junior/Cadette/Senior Leader Training will take place at the next meeting in October.
Storage Locker Ambassador: Our Cluster is looking for a volunteer to keep track of our new storage locker facility. WE NEED YOUR HELP! The Council is no longer paying for our expense of a Storage Locker, we are asking each troop to pay $5 for the year to the Cluster 60 (Formally Vista2). Take advantage of our Storage Locker, you can borrow Journey Books, Songs, Tents, Flags, etc. Contact Julie Barbakoff at julie_barbakoff@hotmail.com for additional information and storage location. Make checks to Vista2 for amount of $5.

E-Council Database: Is back up and working. NOTE: If your email ended with "@ilcrossroads.org" it is now "@girlscoutsgcnwi.org". All passwords remain the same. Need or forgot your password/email? Contact your Registration Partner.
Early Spring Registration Patches: For those troops that registered or turned in validated deposit slips by July 31 will receive their troop patches at the next meeting.
Fall Registration Deadline: Our Girl Scout Season takes affective October 1st. Girls cannot sell Fall Products, Cookies and attend meetings unless they are registered. Please contact your Registration Partner for support.
