Earth Day Celebration on Sunday, April 22, 2007 sponsored by the Thatcher Woods Savanna Restoration Project and the Hal Tyrrell Trailside Museum. Special and ongoing activities from 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Pack a picnic lunch and spend the day! Ongoing activities include Raptor demonstrations, kid’s crafts, bicycle tune-up and repair demonstrations, food gardening, kid’s face painting, and more. Schedule activities include Thatcher Glen Clean-up, fishing demonstration and clinic, guided wildflower walks, Hody Coyote Puppet Show, and more.
