Brownie Outdoor Day

Sunday, May 1, 2011 - 4:15 p.m.

Willow Stream Park Shelter (Pool entrance park at the south end of the lot) 600 North Farrington, BG


This isn’t your ordinary walk in the park…

For Brownie Outdoor Day let Troop 41416 take you on a very unique walk in the park…

Who:            Bridging Daisy and Brownie Girl Scouts

When:           Sunday, May 1st from 4:30 pm to 6:00pm  (Registration begins at 4:15pm)

Where:         Willow Stream Park Shelter (Pool entrance park at the south end of the lot)

600 North Farrington, BG

Badges:        Incredible Insects & Bump in the Night

Cost:           $8.50 per scout Includes: 2 Brownie Try its, 1 fun Patch, SWAP, small snack*

Bring:           Water bottle, Girl Scout Vest (optional)        

Clothing appropriate for outdoors (Rain or Shine, we will be outdoors for the entire event), shoes okay for walking in potentially muddy areas

Permission slips must be brought to the event for each girl

Donate:       Please bring an item to donate to the River Trail Nature Center (ideas noted on attached page)

 

RSVP:                    By Friday, April 22th with this RSVP, your check made out to Troop 41416 so we                                        may allow for enough time to order Council’s own patches

River Trail Nature Center has sponsored many previous outdoor day events. For our service project component of this event, we are collecting donations for use at the Nature Center.
