Event Detail

Focus Group to determine what girls want in an online experience

Saturday, August 28, 2010 - 10 - approx 10:30 am

Vernon Hills Regional Service Center

Attention Girl Scout Leaders!
Please pass this on to your girls.
On August 28th, a National Girl Scout representative from Girl Scouts USA will be conducting a Focus Group on "what do girls want in an online experience."
  • Time: 10 a.m - approximately 10:30 a.m.
  • Place: The Vernon Hills Regional Service Center (HUB)
  • Who: All registered Girl Scouts age 5 - 18 are eligible for this event (groups will be separated by age)
This is a great opportunity for girls to make their opinions known. Thus far, all online activity, such as websites, email, etc., has been directed towards adult leaders. Would the girls like an online experience as part of scouting as well? How would you want to use it: to play games, meet other girl scouts from different parts of the country, something else? Let the organization know!

This initiative is being coordinated by Pam Sender, VISTA 2 troop leader and one of our National Delegates, representing all of Girl Scouts Greater Chicago & Northwest Indiana Council to the Girl Scouts USA.

Register for this event by contacting Pam S., leader of troop 40782, directly, or send an email to the VISTA and we will forward it to Pam V2_IntComAmb@gsvista.org
