Troop 41291 service project / NEW new pairs of socks needed

Monday, March 8, 2010 -

The VISTA 2 leader meeting is from 7-9 p.m. at Longfellow School, 501 Arlington Heights Rd. Buffalo Grove, or drop off the socks at Riley School during the month of February

The 3rd Grade Brownie girls at Riley Elementary School have partnered up with Hannah’s Socks, a charity started by a little girl who saw homeless people with cold feet.

You can assist our Brownie troop #41291 with their community service project by helping them collect pairs of NEW socks for people in need. Simply bring in your sock donations (all sizes needed) to the front foyer at Riley Elementary School and deposit them in our collection bin during the entire month of February. You may also bring them to the leaders meeting on March 8th at Longfellow School.

The troop will then make sure they are delivered to Hannah’s Socks to help out the homeless in our communities.
