Northwestern University Wildcats Women's Basketball Girl Scout Day

Sunday, January 3, 2010 - 2 p.m. game (pre-game clinic starts at noon)

Welsh-Ryan Arena, Northwestern University, Evanston, IL (PARKING IS FREE)


Girl Scout Day with the Northwestern Women's Basketball vs. Penn State

All area scouts (8th grade and under) are invited to Welsh-Ryan Arena to cheer on the 'Cats and participate in a special basketball skills clinic led by the players and coaches of Northwestern. Admission is just $5 for all scouts that want to participate in the pre-game clinic, which includes a FREE t-shirt.  Additional family and friends can receive discounted admission to the game for just $2. All scouts in attendance for the game will receive a FREE scout patch at the game. 

Cost: $5.00 per girl scout attending the pre-game clinic (includes admission to the game, t-shirt and fun patch.)
          $2.00
for girls or family members attending the game only (includes fun patch.)

Also going on during the game:

Family Fun Carnival Day - Sundays at Northwestern Women's Basketball games will rock this season as the Wildcat Carnival opens it's door each Big Ten Sunday home game. Highlights of the event to include face painters, balloon twisters, caricaturists, poster making station, games, contests, autographs and more.

Mascot Basketball - Come cheer on all your favorite mascots from around the area as they take to the hardwood to show off their hoop skills. Mascots will be available for photos and autographs during the game. Mascots scheduled to appear include Willie the Wildcat, Southpaw, Staley, Ozzie, Skates and more!
