Dancercize Try-It following the show

Ballet Theatre of Illinois is proud to present our 8th annual special program of Try It with Ballet Theatre of Illinois.
Girl Scouts will watch The Carnival of the Animals and More dance production and then join the company members in earning their Dancerize Try It.  The Girl Scouts will dance on stage, tour backstage and dressing room areas and chat with the company members.  This is offered at no additional cost over the ticket price.
 
The Carnival of the Animals is an original hour long ballet.  The second act will include a mixed rep of tap, ballet, jazz and modern pieces.  The whole show will be about two hours long (including intermission.)  The Try It portion will take place after the show and will be about 45-60 minutes long.
 
Level: Brownie (for Try-It portion) all ages may attend and enjoy the dance performance

When:  Saturday, March 13th at 2:00 pm.

Where:  Libertyville High School Butler Auditorium Theater

Cost:  Tickets are $12.  For groups over 10, tickets are $10. (Try It patch is not included in ticket price)
 
For tickets and more information, please call 847-247-2240.  There is a limit of 15 Girl Scout troops who will be able to participate in the Try It, however, any number of troops may attend the show.  You may make your reservation early, with payment not due until February.  For more information, you may also view the Ballet Theatre of Illinois website at www.btillinois.org
