Nibbles play Cafe is offering programming for our Daisy Petals and Brownie Try-Its.
- Go Green at Nibbles’. Take a tour of Nibbles’ and learn about the sustainable products used in our construction and our “green” practices. We’ll make some recycled art projects and chat about green practices that kids can do. Work towards your “Earth is Our Home” Try-It or “Use Resources Wisely” Petal.
- "Birthday Party Traditions Around the World." Staff put on a “birthday party” and introduce traditions, songs and games from around the world. Great for your “Around the World” Try-It or “Respect for myself and others” Petal.
- "Come to our Tea Party!" Bring your favorite stuffed animal to our tea
- party! We will review good table manners and then practice at the tea party. And we’ll read some stories and sing some songs! Good practice for your “respect myself and others” Petal or your “Manners” Try-It
- "Storytelling Adventure." Are you trying to work towards some of those more abstract try-its and petals, like honesty, respect for authority…? Let us know the lesson you are trying to teach and we will find a folktale that works, and get the kids involved in an interactive storytelling experience.
