Saturday, November 14, 2009 - 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Vernon Hills Regional Service Center, 650 N. Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills, IL 60061

STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math!

Have fun as you participate hands-on and do exciting experiments with all your friends. STEM Saturdays are designed for Junior through Ambassador Girl Scouts. Leaders, let your girls have fun as you sit back and relax.

*There are "kits" in the VISTA 2 storage locker for all of the STEM Saturday programs.
**Cadette, Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts can sign up to help run a STEM Saturday program. Contact Courtney at CFeuquay@girlscoutsgcnwi.org to take advantage of this leadership opportunity.

Kitchen Science:
Everything, even the kitchen sink is used during this Kitchen Science program. Come and participate in various food science experiments that use ingredients found in the kitchen. Make your own ice cream, learn about yeast as you make your own homemade pizza, investigate acids and bases with red cabbage, create your own relaxing bath soak and mud facials!

Cost: $20 per girl
