VISTA 2 Day Camp

Camp Algonquin in Fox River Grove (Meet at 8:00 a.m. at Kildeer School, 3100 Old McHenry Road, Long Grove. Busses depart at 8:15 and return between 4:45 - 5:00 p.m. each day.)
Twin Groves Community is running a Day Camp the week of June 15-19 at YMCA Camp Algonquin. The deadline to mail in your registration is a FIRM May 15th.
Where: YMCA Camp Algonquin, 1889 Cary-Algonquin Rd, Algonquin, IL (Just a ½ hour bus ride!)
Who: All Registered Vista 2 Girl Scouts, Kindergarten – 8th grade (grade as of Fall, 2009)
Cost: $110 for K – 4th graders (grade as of Fall, 2009), $135 for 5th – 8th graders (grade as of Fall, 2009). Includes lunch each day, T-shirt, bus service & patches. $35 for Wednesday Overnight for 4th – 8th grade.

The camp is 116 beautiful, rolling acres situated along the Fox River -- very much like a Girl Scout Camp. Some classes will be taught by Y staff, others will be taught by Twin Groves Community trained leaders and Program Aides. There may be a little confusion on the YMCA forms. The "Expectations for Adult Accompanying/Chaperoning Children" form should be filled out by the parent who is chaperoning, and the "Adult/Youth Expectation Agreement" should be signed by the child on the "Participant" line and the parent on the "Parent" line.
