ABC Folk Art Fair '09
Cadette Troop #3593 would like to welcome you to our ABC Folk Fair
Have fun learning about a folk art you don't know much about or enjoy relearning about an old favorite. Then, sign-up to do a booth at the fair to feature that folk art which represents a letter of the alphabet. Letters can be repeated but we'll try to have booths with different folk arts.

Set-up: 1:00 p.m., Fair Open: 1:30 – 3:30, Clean-up by 4:00
Event Open to all VISTAs and all scouts.
Event Location: Woodlawn Middle School, 6362 Gilmer Rd, Long Grove, IL; 847/353-8500. Head W on Gilmer, approx. 1 mile N of Rt. 83 & Rt. 22.
Description of Event: Folk Art Fair -- Create a booth activity by selecting a letter of the alphabet to feature as a folk art. For instance, pick B for Beadwork, Q for Quilting, or P for Painted Furniture. It is your troop’s choice.
