Hello!
My name is Kate Reed, and I am a member of Kappa Delta sorority at Northwestern University. The Girl Scouts are one of our philanthropies, and I am in charge of coordinating events with troops. I was a Girl Scout for 10 years, so I love being able to give back to an organization that helped me grow so much. This fall, we are planning an arts fest for area Girl Scouts that is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, November 15. The fest will be held here at Northwestern and will include performances by campus groups as well as some interactive activities that will get the girls engaged in the arts. We are currently looking to get word out to troops about this event, so I was hoping that this message could be forwarded to troops in your council. Because we will have to pay performers, we will have to charge a fee of no more than $5 per girl that will have to be paid by a week prior to the event, but we will be providing snacks and drinks at the event.
