STEM Saturday: "Discovering the Human Body"

Saturday, January 10, 2009 - 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Vernon Hills Regional Service Center (The HUB) 650 N Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills, IL 60061


STEM Saturdays, is a program designed for Girl Scout Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors who wish to learn more about various fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Each STEM Saturday will focus on a different topic.

Respiratory...Digestive...Circulatory...Nervous System...Discover more about the human body and the vaious systems in the body while participating in hands-on, fun activities. Hear about nutrition, circulation, senses, reflexes, lungs and breathing, and the brain.

Cost: $10 per participant. (Covers snack, patch and goodies. Girls need to bring their own lunch.), capacity 100 girls

Please Note:
A registered adult must accompany the girls during any of the STEM Saturday programs. Troops must follow Safety-Wise girl to adult ratio. Bring a own lunch. Girls will not be permitted to leave the premises.
