VISTA 2 Junior Outdoor Day at the Grove

Come share time together where you will enjoy a guided walk through wetlands on a dock, focus on diversity of plants outside and in the Wetlands Greenhouse, go on a short hike, see live birds, turtles, snakes, & fish and tour preserved homes from the 1800s. All that and s’mores too with lemonade!
We will earn the Junior Plants and Animals Badge!

WHO: 3rd grade Brownies and 4th – 6th grade Juniors. Join us!
WHERE: The Grove, 1421 Milwaukee Avenue, Glenview, 847/299-6096; Take Lake-Cook east to Milwaukee. Head south, right. Go past Euclid, under the tollway, and then the entrance is on the left.
WHEN: Saturday, May 31, 2008, 2:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
COST: $7.75 per person, scout or adult. After deadline, $9.75 per person.
BRING: Cleaned Fruit and/or Vegetable Seeds in a Sandwich Ziploc Bag. We will reuse bag, please bring Sandwich-size Ziploc Bag. Start saving your seeds now so you have a good size bunch.
DEADLINE: Friday, May 9, 2008 or sooner. Sorry, no refunds.
