EARTH DAY FAIR!

presented by Girl Scout Troop 3593 and open to the whole VISTA

Where can Scouts of all ages go to learn about Earth Day?

The Earth Day Fair!  Professionals current in environmental issues of all sorts will be presenting topics on air, water, land, conservation, protection, recyclables, environmentalists, games, natures’ impact and more.

All Scouts will be able to earn a badge for their Girl Scout level.

Who:
 
All Girl Scouts in VISTA 2!
Where:  Woodlawn Middle School on Gilmer, west of Rt. 83, in Long Grove
When:
  Friday, April 18, 2008, Daisy and Brownie Girl Scouts from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.; Junior /Cadette/Senior Girl Scouts 
from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m.
Cost: 
$2 per Girl Scout, includes passport, patch and snack.
Bring: 
Your Cool Globe for display.  (Make your own cool globe. See download for details or visit www.coolglobes.com for ideas!) OR Start saving your recyclables and bring to share.
Deadline:  Friday, April 4, 2008 or sooner. Sorry, no refunds.

Note: Each girl attending the fair will need to download and fill out the attached Parent/Guardian Permission Form & Emergency Medical Form. Every girl must bring this with her to the fair.
