Trip to Mackinac Island in Michigan

Girl Scouts - Prairie Winds Council is sponsoring a trip to Mackinac Island. This event is also open to Girl Scouts from Illinois Crossroads Council. Girls, ages 10 and up, are invited to bring their favorite female adult for two glorious days and nights on Mackinac Island.  The 2008 adventure begins on Monday, June 16 and ends on Wednesday, June 18. Participants will ride in a coach bus and travel to the island via ferry boat.  They’ll stay at the Murray Hotel. Meals include breakfasts, one lunch and one dinner.  Enjoy a carriage tour of the island and then plenty of time to explore. Other activities include tea time at the Grand Hotel, bike riding, horseback riding, and, of course, sampling the world-famous fudge found in almost every store on the island!

Registration for this event will be available at http://www.girlscoutspw.org/registernow as of Jan. 15, 2008.  Use code 7214.
Cost of the trip is $250 per adult and $225 per girl with payment in 2 installments.

If you have questions about the Mackinac trip, please e-mail julie.gilmartin@girlscoutspw.org or call 630-544-5973.
