Looking to next year, please begin thinking about volunteering for a Community Leadership Position. Any leader that would like to continue in their current position for next year should let Melina know before our March VISTA Meeting.

If you are taking a Field Trip or Overnight Trip with your troop, please make sure that it is recorded on the Community Calendar.

Please send an email to Melina by February 13, 2009 describing any planned Scout Sunday or Girl Scout Week activities. A flyer will be distributed to all Libertyville Leaders with the information.

THINKING DAY

The theme for our Libertyville World Thinking Day 2009 is "Think Healthy".

Sunday, March 15, 2009 at Butterfield School from 1-4:30pm.

An invitation has been sent to all leaders and is available on the VISTA website.

The Reservation/Payment deadline is Friday, February 20, 2009.

LEADER DAUGHTER EVENT

Volunteers interested in coordinating our Leader/Daughter Event, please contact Melina by 2/15/09.

AGE LEVEL / ALL LEVEL EVENTS

Our community is seeking leaders or troops interested in coordinating activities – ideas include events for all scouts, Daisies, Juniors, or Cadettes/Teens. We currently have two Brownie level activities planned (Roller Skating on 2/27 and the Luau on 3/20).
