Hawthorn Community Leader Meeting Minutes for 09/11/2006 – ALSO SEE VISTA MINUTES!

1.   Hawthorn Roster and Activity List

·        Thank you Barb for becoming our temporary Community Registration Ambassador.  Note: we still are in need of a Community Registration Ambassador for this school year!

·        Thank you Jeanne for picking up coordination of Cookies for Troops!

·        Thank you Susie for picking up coordination of the Daisy/Brownie Try It?

·        We are now looking for a coordinator for the Caroling and Decorating at Manor Care.  This is a low maintenance activity, and Vicki is happy to show you the ropes.  Please volunteer!

2.   Finance Status

·        Troop bank account set up is detailed on the council Web site

·        The following troops must submit a 2005-2006 Finance report to Jenny

·        1200, 1387, 2411, 2412, 2418, 2420, 2495, 2497, 3102, 3440, 3546, 3561

3.   Fall Product Sale

·        Sale timeframe: October 13 – October 29^th

·        Troop level training for Fall Product sale at next VISTA meeting, Oct. 10^th, 7:00 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.

·        Troop packets will be distributed at next VISTA meeting, Oct. 10^th, 7:00 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.

·        Be sure the Fall Sale person from each troop attends this training and gets their materials

4.   Recruiting Event

·        Will be held Monday, Sept 25, 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., at the Townline Cafe

·        We are still looking for 2 or 3 leaders willing to answer participant questions one-on-one

·        Thank you to Nina and Troop 3561 for volunteering to entertain our young visitors with games and crafts.

·        Over 180 will attend!!
