IT’S FASHIONABLE TO TAKE CHARGE

One in every five girls ages 13 to 18 years old report being physically abused by their boyfriend/partner; One in three girls ages 13-18 report being stalked, either physical or electronically ( emails, cell phone, text messages) by their boyfriend/partner; Forty percent of teenage girls from the ages of 14 to 17 say they know someone who has been assaulted by their boyfriend.  For my Gold Award Project I want to increase awareness of “Teen Dating Violence” in a way that girls and their parents will understand and remember and that way is thru fashion
