4th of July Parade !!
Interested in walking in the Vernon Hills Parade with the Hawthorn Community Girl Scouts?
 
When: Saturday, July 4th 
Time:    Line up at 8:00am, parade starts at 9:00am
Where:  Deerpath & Townline Rd. [specifics to follow]
Cost:  Nothing, it’s free – and the girls get a patch!! 
                    You only need to bring your own candy to toss
RSVP:  Please respond to Jami Pacer by Monday, June 22nd!  
 
Additional Information . . .
*  Each Troop will need to purchase candy for the girls to “throw” to the crowd – we will have some candy, but experience has shown, this does not last the entire route!!
*  Siblings are welcome to walk too!
*  Parents and/or Leaders must accompany your troop – it is up to you how many adults you want with your troop! 
*  Be sure to wear comfy walking shoes, use sunscreen, bring water bottles, remember sunglasses, etc!!
