Girl Scout Day at Camp Duncan

WHO:                         All registered Girl Scouts in Community 335
 
WHAT:                       Girls will be allowed to participate in activities dictated by Safety-Wise Standards. Activities like, boating, swimming, hayrides, etc. 
 
WHEN:                       Saturday, August 18, 2007   
 
WHERE:                    Camp Duncan YMCA
                                    32405 N. Route 12
                                    Ingleside, IL 60041
 
DIRECTIONS:            Entrance is on the east side of Route 12, South of Home Depot
 
TIME & COST:            Half Day: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm $21.50 ea - activities, t-shirt, and event patch. 
Full Day: 9:00 am to 8:30 pm $28.00 ea – activities, t-shirt, event patch, and dinner. 
Overnighter: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm Sunday $47.50 ea – activities, t-shirt, event patch, dinner, and Sunday breakfast.                                                
*Prices are same for Adult & Girl.   Troop Checks only payable to: Service Unit 721.
 
FOOD:            Lunch: girls and adults are required to bring a sack lunch with beverage.
Dinner:  complete dinner will be provided for Full Day and Overnighter only. 
Sunday: All Overnighters are required to bring a sack lunch with beverage. Lunch will be stored in Camp Duncan Fridge. Please label your lunch.
 
DEADLINE:              On or before June 5th, VISTA Leader Meeting (permission slips,
                                     roster and money). 
                                   
LATE FEE:                $10.00 if turned in after 6/5/07.  $15.00 after 6/15.
                                    All late fees will be donations to the Family Partnership.
 
TROOP CHECK-IN:  Starts at 8:30 am. Follow the signs that will be posted. Once your entire Girl Scout troop is present, give the registration person a copy of permission slips in a zip-lock bag or envelope with your troop number clearly marked on the bag. (Leaders should keep copies of all attending girl and adult medical cards with them for this event!)
 
è     Medication must be in its original container with the child's name and instructions clearly marked on the container and administered by an adult, or the child in the presence of an adult.
