Juniors and “Bridging” Brownies Badge Workshop

WHO:     All registered Junior and Bridging Brownie Girl Scouts in RL/FL/Ing Community
 
WHAT:                  Work on (2) Badges
                  To ensure a quality badge workshop, troop leaders are encouraged to help with each portion of the badge.
 
BADGES:        Court Sports (#1,2,3,4,5,6) and Field Sports (#1,2,4,5,7,9)
 
WHERE:      Round Lake Area Park District Sports Center
                   Municipal Way, Round Lake Beach, IL
                  (behind the Round Lake Area Post Office)
 
WHEN:            Saturday, May 5, 2007
                  1:00-5:00pm
 
CHECK-IN: As a troop at 12:45pm. All girl and adult medical cards and HIPAA forms should be in the possession of the troop leader. Medication must be in its original container with child’s name and instructions clearly marked on the container, administered by an adult, or by the child in the presence of an adult.
 
COST:            $14.00 per girl includes activities, badges and snack with water.
 
ATTIRE:    Dress appropriate for active participation as you would for gym class; no open toed shoes, no open back shoes, nor sandals – and shoes must be tied if they have shoelaces
 
REGISTRATION: Roster, payment and permission slips must be submitted no later than April 3, 2007 (the VISTA meeting). Make Troop checks (no cash) payable to VISTA#14. After April 3, 2007, add a $10 late fee that will be donated to Family Partnership fund. Maximum capacity is 100 girls (no guarantee for exceeding this amount).
