Troop #2596 Recycle Old Gym Shoe Collection

Collection will be taken at the VISTA Meeting
RECYCLE!
Who: Antioch Junior Girl Scout Troop #2596
What: Collecting your old gym shoes
(Our goal is to collect 5,000 shoes!)
Where: Various locations around town
Why: The shoes will be given to Waste management, who will deliver them to Nike. Nike will then recycle them by making them into new gym floors and playgrounds. In doing this, we are saving landfill space and the Earth.
How: Bring your old gym shoes to a drop-off location through the month of April 2007
The following items will not be accepted:
* shoes with any metal on them
* cleats
* sandals
