All Antioch Girl Scout Troops are

invited to participate in our annual

World Thinking Day Event

Friendships Around the World

Sunday, February 11, 2007

1:00 pm to 3:00 pm

Antioch's VFW Hall

At this event, we will think of our fellow Girl Scouts or Girl Guides from around the world.  We will learn about their country, customs, and cultures.  We will find out if they like similar or different activities than we do in the USA.

Troops will select a country to represent and create a table display including pictures, objects, books, games, etc.  A food sample or craft item or souvenir for each girl should be included.  An adult or older girl(s) will give a 3-minute speech and answer questions about the country.  Instead of a display, troops can perform a song or dance or skit from their country.

Each girl must bring a Permission Form and $2 for a patch and passport.

Proceeds from this event will be donated to the Juliette Low World Friendship Fund.
