Antioch Veterans Day Celebration

Calling all Antioch Girl Scouts!!
The traditional Antioch Veterans Day celebration is on Saturday, November 11 at the Antioch VFW Hall on North Avenue in Antioch. Gather at the VFW Hall at 10:30 AM, the ceremony starts at 11:00 AM. There will be speakers, and a flag ceremony. ALL Girl Scouts should wear their vests or sashes. Hot dogs, soda, and cake will be served to all at the end of the ceremony.
The VFW graciously allows us to use their hall for the delivery of our Girl Scout cookies in February, so I try to get as many girl scouts as possible to attend to show our support and thanks to the VFW. I promise all girls who attend and wear their sashes and vests a patch as a thank you for attending. This is always a meaningful event, a great learning opportunity for all, so I urge you to take an hour out of your busy Saturday to attend.
