The International Fair is a tradition within the Girl Scout program. The friendship and diversity themes remind us that we are an international family of Girl Scouts and Girl Guides, and this event gives us the opportunity to learn about the customs, crafts, activities, and games of our sister Girl Scouts around the world.
WHO: Girl Scouts of all ages and their families.
WHAT: Fundraiser for WAGGGS. Take a journey to other countries while learning about new cultures.
WHEN: Sunday, May 22nd
Booth set up will be from 11:30am – 12:45pm
Opening Flag ceremony will be at 12:45 pm
Booths will be open from 1 - 4:00 pm
WHERE: Martin School - 24750 W. Dering Lane, Lake Villa, IL 60046
COST: $1.50 per girl for troops presenting a country or doing the opening flag ceremony. Includes 1 passport
$3 per girl for troops which are only ‘visiting’. Includes 1 passport
$3 per person for all other ‘visitors’ who wish to participate in booth activities. Includes 1 passport
$1.50 per patch
Passports will be distributed at the event. All visitors will be asked to check-in upon entering. It will be possible to purchase additional passports at the door.
