This engaging musical adaptation of the classic by Frances Hodgson Burnett opens with a happy Sara Crewe, heiress to a large fortune. Enrolled at Miss Minchin’s seminary in Victorian England, her life takes a dramatic turn when she receives news of the loss of her father... and her fortune.  Forced to become a servant in the school, Sara’s positive outlook in the face of being poor for the rest of her life, shines through her gloomy situation and wins our hearts.

CenterStage of Lake Forest will hold a special performance of this musical for VISTA 10 and VISTA 14 Girl Scouts.  The tickets will only be available on a first come, first served basis until January 31st.  Any unsold tickets will be gtiven back to the theater for sale.

Tickets are $10 each and includes the opportunity to earn the Girl Scout Brownie Let’s Pretend Try-It, Girl Scout Junior Theater Badge, or partial requirements for the The Play’s the Thing Girl Scout Cadette Interest Project (patches not provided).
