Leadership Training: Girl Scouts on the Move: Camp Craft - Adults

Morrison Program Center, Lake Villa, IL
Course covers camping in a tent, tepee, or Adirondack. Fire building, tent care, outdoor cooking, hiking, safety, and camp sanitation are covered. For more challenging activities, this course will help volunteers to become comfortable taking girls on extended excursions locally, nationally, or internationally. Will cover planning and developing timelines, readiness, minimal impact camping, resources, and council requirements for group trips.
