XI. Feedback Discussion about how to Improve Communication in our Service Unit
a. Comment was made about getting information sooner. We are working on a better way.
b. Comment was made that SE Wisconsin Girl Scout Web site is so much better than ours. Information is hard to find and comes out too late.
c. Comment was made that Large Event training was very helpful and should be offered every year. Planning a large event is intimidating for new leaders.
d. Comment was made that we need more break-out sessions to be able to share with each other.
e. Comment was made that meetings used to be very informative and had lots more people. We need help from Council and it can’t be the same 30 leaders that show up for Vista meetings. Council should handle some large events for us so more people would want to come. Lydia’s response was that there are large Council events, but Council probably will not be able to invest time in our individual Service Unit.
f. Meredith suggested that we all attend the Town Hall Meetings.
g. Team does advocate for us at the Council level, but it will probably be up to us to make the change.
h. Please send Lydia email with remaining questions and concerns. Conversation to be continued next month.
XII. Fall Product Training
a. Sharyn Wilson is 2010 Fall Product Service Unit Manager. Email Wswilson0@yahoo.com with questions.
b. Sharyn will send an email letting everyone know where the Powerpoint information files are going to be posted.
