VISTA Family Picnic
Sunday, August 5, 2007 - Noon
38 Acres Park in Winthrop Harbor on 9th Street, next to the Schalder Building, between Lewis Ave. and Sheridan Rd.
It will be held August 5th at noon (lunch will be served at 1pm) at 38 Acres Park in Winthrop Harbor on 9th Street, next to the Schalder Building, between Lewis Ave. and Sheridan Rd.
Cost will be $5 per person (under 2 are free) plus $1 for the patch.
Food is being catered by Northstar Entertainment which includes:
*All beef burgers
*All beef plump dogs
*Johnsonville brats
*All necessary fresh baked buns
*Cook and server (health dept. certified)
*Grills and cooking utensils
*Buffet tent, buffet tables, serving utensils, holding pans
*Basic condiments (ketchup, mustard, relish)
*Disposable plates, forks, napkins
*All set up and breakdown for the food service area
*Hot/cold food holding areas
There will be a bounce house, volleyball, potato sack races, etc.

If troops would like to bring an activity to share for the children, that would be welcomed. For example, one cadette troop is bringing a bubble pool. Let Deana know if you plan to bring something to avoid duplication.
Please have everyone bring their own drinks and chairs.
LEADERS - bring a dessert and/or bag of chips.
Head count and pre-payment is due to Deana by June 30th. Please indicate the number of patches needed.
Since this event is being catered, no late payment will be accepted.
