VISTA 1 Communities Girl Scouts – Illinois Crossroads Council is the largest Illinois council and the fourth largest in the United States. Our jurisdiction includes 102 communities in Northeastern Illinois with a membership of more than 36,800 girls and 9,570 adult volunteers. As a response to GSUSA’s Governance and Organizational Structuring priorities, our council created Volunteer Information, Support, Training Areas (VISTAs), blending 45+ service units into fifteen VISTAs.

* Current girl and adult membership reflects our six recruitment and service delivery options of Girl Scouting through volunteer and staff initiated efforts
