  Work Environment

Most Girl Scout employees do not work directly with girls. Our permanent positions generally involve recruiting, training, and supervising adult volunteers. We also represent Girl Scouting in the community, and use business support skills.

Our office offers a contemporary professional environment for staff. Business attire is the appropriate dress. Respecting the importance of balancing work and family, we offer flex-time; however, evening and weekend work is common in many positions.

Girl Scouts - Illinois Crossroads Council is an equal opportunity employer, committed to creating, respecting, and learning from staff diversity.
