Your home away from home in the country. Drive from the urban area, down the driveway to an area that feels "country."

Property Information
Acres of woods, trails, open fields used for group camping, council sponsored events, and summer programs offer numerous opportunities for girls and adults. For group camping, groups plan their own activities while enjoying the natural surroundings. Council sponsored events are planned programs for individuals or groups to interact with other Girl Scouts. Summer programs provide individual Girl Scouts an opportunity to attend Wild Rose Program Center for one week "away from home."

For the convenience of groups camping at Wild Rose Program Center, arrival is anytime after 2:30 p.m. with departure by 2:00 p.m. through self-guided model. Sports, outdoor cooking and camping equipment is on site and available to borrow for easier planning and packing.

Programming/Activities
Council sponsored events are planned programs for individuals or groups to interact with other Girl Scouts. Day use, workshops, beginning camping, advanced camping in set-up tents areas, special events, VISTA campouts, and summer programs. Sports, outdoor cooking and camping equipment is on site and available to borrow for easier planning and packing.

Rental Equipment
Cross Country Ski & Snow Shoe Rental
Junior, Cadette, and Senior Girl Scout groups, while staying at Wild Rose Program Center during the snow months, should consider spending some time on the trails cross country skiing or snow-shoeing. Available in the winter months with 3 - 4" of snow. Rentals are based on availability; first come, first served.

Capacity:an accommodate most groups of 18 participants or less, depending on shoe and ski size (minimum 2 adults must ski with group)
Fee:$4.00 per participant for 4 hours use
Note:Limited size boots and skis available.
